Can they still be prosecuted for the waste and fraud the GAO found? According to the government Audit, they wasted and over charged 2.7 BILLION dollars. A week after the report comes out, the leave the country? And whats worse, the taxes on the the tens of billions in profit they are making each year from the Iraq war will no longer be paid to our government.

Don't think they are the only company making billions.

We have spent 600 billion SO FAR

and that doesn't count Iraqs contribution of oil revenue.

YET, the people live in rock houses with electricity for less than 10 hours a day, while earning 50 dollars a month

Where has the money went ,,,,, the population of IRAQ is only 26 million people and 24,000 dollars has already been spent for every man, woman and child in IRAQ. Keep in mind that they make an average of 600 per year.

Maybe it would be to simple to just bribe everyone to turn in insurgents or to reward those that are loyal to the new government with a financial incentive.

Or we can continue to JUST BEAT DEMOCRACY INTO THIER HEADS and throw money at Halliburton & Associates

Yes, as long as they have contracts with the Federal Government and are regulated by the US stockmarket, and US incorporation laws -

however - they make it more difficult - and I'd bet that was their greatest concern besides MONEY, MONEY AND MORE MONEY!

I am proud of all of you young kids - for thinking more and more about all of our issues.
You know what you can do about it - vote and then
call your senators and congress reps. and tell em exactly what you think.

GOD bless us always.

The US government can sue Haliburton and recover the funds. What you describe cannot happen.
