Have you noticed the fact that names have been changed? In Naruto, we have Jiraya, the Perverted Hermet. Now he's the Pervi-Sage. STUPID AS HECK! We have all the anime that our gracious Asian overlords give us, and what do we do? SCREW IT UP BY CHANGING NAMES, LESSENING BLOOD and even...even...adding dumb American voices. WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?

I agree with you. All they want to do is Americanize the anime so young kids don't get confused. Also, they edit the anime because they are afraid kids are going to copy what they see on television - those morons.

1. Yes, a little. 2. Being redundant, ne? 3. I love the Elegant Goth Aristocrat fashion with the dark colors and the ruffles and lace. ^.^ 4. Yes! I once painted a picture and the man in it was wearing clothes in the EGA fashion. I first learned of this style from the anime Princess Princess... well, actually that was Goth-Loli, but it influenced the clothing on the guy in the painting I did. ^.^" 5. Not really... 6. Nah, I prefer function over fashion in that department. I like having my hair boy-short so it doesn't get in my way and it's easier to wash.

i dislike censorship period.. some of the anime series i see on tv have been so heavly redubed that they aren't even anything close to the origional versions. One of my friends speaks and reads japanese, collecting origional versions from overseas, and she lets me know if the origional pre-edit versions were anything close to what i actually get to see. Some of the dialog is reworked to remove cultural referanses that the average non-japanese audiance wouldnt have a clue about what was being talked about. Also on older stuff like Lupon the 3rd they take out old popculture remarkes and replace them with more contemporary ones.

The US Government does not control the content of imported anime. These decisions are made by the companies that bring this anime to you.

There is an episode of Pokemon where James dresses up in a bikini to enter a contest and he has breasts, which he increases in size to shame Misty.
it is hilarious as anything, but you never saw it in the US version. (I have an original Japanese version)
