When they can crawl out of it, get too long to be comfy, or exceed the weight limit. My girls could both get out by 10 months. They were both climbers though. Neither of them slept in a crib for more than 18 months either b/c of this.

It really goes based on weight and age. My son is 15 months and he can no longer go in one because he rocks it back and fourth and can almost tip it. I've worked in alot of daycares and the limit the state gives you is two years old.

When they exceed the weight or height limits in the owners instructions. If you have lost the instructions contact the manufacturer or check their website.

I think you should go by the weight limit. But my so is two and half and he is too big for it and he doesnt like it anymore.

usually when they max out the weight limit. but i have seen children that love them and stay in them until they are to long to lay down in them.

that would depend on the child , i think i was just two or three weeks of my 21st birthday before i got out of mine
