Hi, there is a easy way to get rid of the stain. Use a piece of soft cloth, extruding some toothpaste on it, and then clean your silver things. After all the dirty things disappearing, wash it in the clean water and dry it with soft cloth. You need to repeat this every few days. If you are a silver lover, I suggest you the following website, there are some beautiful silver bracelets, earrings, pendants and hairpins.

Throw them out!
My advice is to invest more in silver authentic jewelery or a mixture component of silver at least. The sum of money spent on buying new silver all the time, might be worth the price of a more pricey silver piece. You do get sterling silver for $ 50, 70, 100., which is reasonable.

But i do agree that fashionable silver jewelery is getting popular. I used to clean those with white creamy toothpaste like Colgate. Rub in the paste and leave them on your jewelery for a few minutes, then wash and dry with a towel. It's more efficient as a maintenance routine, bcoz when the silver has gone really bronze it's point of no return

If your a science whiz, try electrolysis to give your jeweleries another silver coating!

One girl said that she boils her silver in javel (chlorine) solution to keep them brand new??

You could always try....

Hi

If it is proper silver then white toothpaste will clean it well. Use a old soft toothbrush to clean it - leave toothpaste on for about 5 mins and wash off in warm water - sounds mad but works!!

You can also buy speical pits of silver jewellery cleaner that work really well too and last forever. They normally come with a little brish to clean it with.

They sell a SILVER jewelr cleaner at wal-mart in the jewelry section. It comes in a gray little container and it works wonders. You put your silver in it and in less than a half of a minute the jewelry is back to the beautiful shiny silver color it was to begin with.

You don't need just any type of jewelry cleaner, you need silver cleaner. I like the kind that comes in a bottle. (it looks like it could be a bottle of lotion) Be sure to follow the directions on the bottle. I always rinse the jewelry off with cool water after the cleaning.

i have been wearing silver for 10 years. this works perfectly. go to walmart, go to the kitchen cleaners and get a bottle of Tarn - x. then go to the jewelery department and get a silver jewelry polishing cloth. when you get home - pour a little tarn x in a glass and dip your chain in it, only for a few seconds, then rinse in warm water - wipe dry and then follow directions for polishing cloth. works perfect!
