Well, this may sound old-fashioned and unpopular, but, I really don't think it's a good idea to open yoursel up for all the evls that can come from being with someone you have not committed yourself to for a lifetime. You know what I mean? O* *O. That's where I stand on the whole thing. Some people don't believe in God, or the Bible, or marriage, and some do. I believe a person should first be concerned wth trying to make sure God is happy with them, then all else. Sorry if that offends. If he would marry you, then, you can be sre a little fleshly problem will not matter at all.

I think it is just a matter of taking a deep breath and going for it.
I have a lot of scars on upper body from operations I had in my teens. I hated then and would never allow anyone to see me without a t-shirt on. When I met mypartner he slowly persuaded me that he could cope with it. He didn't even love me at the time, not really, but cared about me enough to show me that they weren't really as bad as I feared. Two weeks ago I married him in a low cut dress that showed my worst scar, I didn't even think about it because it his favourite dress on me.
So trust your man, let him accept all that you are - it is the greatest gift you can give him. Go on be brave, I was and I am glad that was able to be for him.

I understand exactly how you feel. I am living with my fiancee and still do not parade around naked. I prefer sex in the dark.
I WISH I could be comfortable with my body, but unfortunately I think it is something that really comes from deep inside, not even based on how you actually look. I don't really have any good advice because I am still trying to work on this issue myself but just wanted to let you know that are not alone.

Everyone gets hang ups about their bodies hun, and it seems that he loves you for who you are so it shouldn't matter! It seems like you think that you should have the courage to let him see you naked, so go for it. You'll feel much better once you do. Why not arrange a romantic night for you both like dinner and a bottle of wine, the alcohol will give you a bit of extra confidence, then have a candle lit bath. Candle light is very flattering. Once you've got completely naked for him you won't think twice about it again! The wine will give you a little exta confidence......go on go for it girl x

You already said he accepts you the way you are. If I truly loved someone, I wouldn't let a little thing like that bother me. Why do people insist on seeing themselves as a collection of body parts instead of a person? I'm sure he already knows about your belly, so relax and enjoy the fact that you have someone who loves YOU.

you are you. jelly belly and all. if you want to give of yourself then you need to be comfortable with who you are first. so, get naked. stand in front of the mirror and learn to love that jelly belly. it is a badge of honour. it is a mummy tummy. it is beautiful. and so are you

I know this doesn't sound too feminine, but if you love yourself and the way you look and have self esteem, and he loves you - he won't mind. But if you make a fuss about it or show you are embarassed, it will affect him.

Its never too late to get fit yes it'll take a bit more time but think how good you'll feel about yourself and how hot you'll look. Surely theres bits you like about your man that he has hang ups about, learn to love yourself, he does.
