NBA players have various types of training in order to increase their vertical leaping ability. First, there are the platform shoes. These specially-devised shoes trigger the calf muscles when worn. They will help your limbs get used to jumping. It develops a fast twitch reaction in your leg muscles. These shoes have instructions together with the package. Examples of these shoes are the Jumpsoles and the Springbak Soles. Another type of training is by following training manuals. These manuals have exercises for you to increase your leaping ability. They include the time intervals, number of reps, and the number of sets in an exercise. Some examples of these are the Dunknow program, Air Alert I, II, and III. Follow the links below. Good luck!

yeah jumpsoles do not work, ive tried them along with my entire team....maybe a half an inch at tops....most of the players in the NBA have to natural talent to jump high...but also, there is jump training that you can do, that is very intense, and almost everyday you have to do it, adn your legs are so tired, all you can do is rest them until ur next workout....which is why i doubt to many nba players even try it

they have these shoes that you can use to excersice. I can't remember the name of them but they are designed to work out in, by just repeatedly jumping in them. At the toe there is a piece that sticks down and out.
