I have been disabled over 20 years. I can answer your questions. You may want to base your project on how people cope with their disabilites. How someone disabled from birth and someone who became disabled later in life cope and if it is different. Try and write it in a positive light, as there are many positive aspects about being disabled. Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Possibly think about where the consciousness of disability lies. In the mind of the impaired or those that consider themselves "normal". Should disability even exist as a word defining human beings?

Hi what about http://www.psoriasis.org/home/ which is about people with psoriasis. This disease is typically rejected by people as being disgusting and not considered as a disability, but to people that have it, they are just as restricted in daily life as people with other disabilities.
