Drexel!! Also, Drexel, and one more...............Drexel. They were really screwed. I got an idea. Lets do away with the league tournaments- and end the season, letting the league champion have the automatic bid. Then give out at large. That way- nobody gets screwed because a raggedy team did well in their conference tourney- and for some reason made the field. This is the biggest reason deserving teams don't make the field, because spots are taken by underserving teams, who just happened to do well in the last week of the season.
So who was snubbed..........
Drexel
Did I say Drexel?

Syracuse. True, it was a lackluster season, but the Orange played in a strong conference. Arguably as strong as the ACC and SEC, where teams with records similar to Syracuse (Duke, for example) get in with decent seeds.
The 'cuse got hosed by the good ol' boy... oops, Selection Committee.

Three teams come to mind right away, Syracuse, Drexel and Kansas State. I thought any of those teams could have been seeded 14th or better.
