Is it safe to let him have it? I don't want any choking accidents!!!

I've got a bone...but it's not for the dog....and I will try really hard not to have any choking accidents!!!

Well, you should check the bone closely. You need to make sure that the bone will not choke him by seeing if it chokes you first. Practice safe boning by watching out for your dog.

I can only ask,,have you or your dog ever been choked by a BONE before??? If not, give that doggie a bone.

yeah if its not tiny (the dog and the bone!)

i think the only bone you cant give dogs are like chicken bones and stuff

Dogs can have any bone except for chicken bones.

Who gave you the bone, dog's can't have real bones because shards can get lodged in their throat or cut it up!

not if its like a chicken bone if its really skinny then he might choke :)

Ckicken bones O.K., or a big pork bone, like a knuckle, anything else is dangerous.

Yes it is as long as it is not cooked. I give my Bassett smoked pork bones all the time.
