Let me see if I have this straight. Because there are people in the world who do not agree with your political ideology, facts and truths no longer matter to you. In other words by your assessment only your opinion is the correct one and if people will not vote for that position willingly then they must be brought into line by any means necessary. This begs the question of what you will suggest when lying does not achieve the goal. Forced elections? Take away voting rights? Re-education camps? Sounds an awful like a fascism to me. Let me explain this for you. You do not have all the answers. Your opinions are not always the correct ones. Lying is never ok and the ends do not always justify the means.

The last I heard we still have a secret ballot. You can't force anyone to vote any particular way. How would you know how they voted unless you cheated? If someone is stupid enough to only listen to one side, perhaps they are locked in a closet with propaganda blaring at them day and night, than they are not a truly informed voter and may be dumb enough to vote Republican. If, on the other hand they listen to all sides and decide for themselves how to vote and that happens to be for a Repbulican than they have made a consious decision based on all the information they have and what they perceive as the best way.

If someone was gullible enough to fall for lies then they probably already are planning to vote against the Republicans even without you becoming involved.

Where have you been? The Demon-crats have been lying and using deceptive practices to corral voters for years. I still remember the sweet, innocent-looking teenager in her first year of college who was standing out in front of the Wal-Mart and asked me if I wanted to register to vote. Strange that she didn't mention that the forms she was passing out were to register voters for the Democratic Party...

To answer your question: It's not OK, but that doesn't stop liberals from doing it. Ditto that for manufacturing stories about Republicans -- heck, our governor did it.

The truth is plenty of reason to vote against Republicans. Their policies threaten the middle class, and all of America.

Tax breaks for gas guzzling SUVs are accelerating global climate change. Prayer in schools and 'Intelligent Design' threaten scientific education, which threatens technological advancements that we depend on to improve our lives. The current administration's preference for loyal appointees over qualified candidates is reminiscent of a dictatorship, and results in the incompetence we saw with Katrina and the Iraq war.

No, lying is wrong, we all know that. Especially making up stories about them.

If you do this you're a bad person. Besides you should never put down something people like, or they'll defend it. You should instead show them why the party you prefer is good, introduce them to other people who share your views, maybe get them to talk to a politician of that party. If they are exposed to it, they'll be more open minded.

That is a crime it is called slander. It is also a crime to prevent anyone from freely voting their choice! It is a civil rights violation.

Just like when the Democrats tried to stop desegregation!

no!!! Everyone in this country has the right to vote how they choose and for whatever reasons they want...that's the beauty of America. If you want to tell someone how to vote move to a communist country!!!

All you can do is spread the truth!!!
