He is hoping that he will get lucky because the girl he is cheating with is drinking and he is looking for drunk sex. The $3 bathroom polo---Polo is a cologne that you can buy. At some upscale "bars" restraunts etc., they offer it for sale in the bathroom for "freshening up" purposes. Hope that helped!
