in my 1st pregnancy i got a few stretch marks on my lower belly and they have faded a lot in the past 8 years. I am now 26 weeks with my 2nd baby, will i get more this pregnancy or will my skin stretch in the same spots. I don't have any new ones yet? I know no one can predict this but i am asking this from personal experiences from women who have been pregnant 2 or more times?

I didn't get any more with my 2nd or 3th pregnancy.

I got quite a lot of stretch marks with my first on my hips and breasts - I'm now 31 weeks with my second, and I have no new ones there, although the already stretched skin seems a bit more stretched - I'm hoping this will go down after baby is born.

I do have some new stretch marks on my lower belly though, I never got any there with my first, I'm carrying much lower this time. I think it all depends on the pregnancy.

Even so - my body isn't much worse off than it was the first time!! I hope all goes OK, good luck!

:-)

I got more stretch marks the second time, but only because I gained more weight. I only gained 15 lbs with my first and 30 lbs with the second. You have to remember that every woman and every pregnancy is different. Some women don't even get stretch marks no matter how many children they have!

I am 35 weeks with my second and I haven't noticed any new ones, though it is a little hard to tell. I think just the same spots have stretched. I'm in the home "stretch" now, so hopefully I won't get any more!! LOL!!

I think once you're stretched, you're stretched! LOL! Seriously, you may get a few more, but probably not many. Isn't it ironic that most celebrities don't get them - that has always been weird to me . . .

my first pregnacy i barley got any strecth marks. then my second i got a few but he was bigger than my first also. so i think it depends on the size of the baby.
