Can you go back to being friend with benefits after having a fling?

If you have a friend with benefits and you both decide to have a spring fling, can you go back to being friends with benefits after the fling is over?

It'll be hard. You will both always remember that fling, and it might make you less comfortable with each other if you really just want to forget about it. Talk with them. Tell them that you want to just be, as you put it, "friends with benefits", and ask them if they feel the same way you do. Don't get discouraged if every time you see them your face gets all red or you don't know what to say--it is that memory standing between you, and it will go away eventually.
