the only thing that should stop a 14 year old would be the nudity, but then again, do you think it's anything the 14 year old hasn't already seen when him and his buddies raid his dads playboy collection? i know i did that when i was 14.

as for the violence, its tame compared to video games, which a lot of 14 year olds play

I saw the movie on Friday night and if I had a 14 year old, he/she would not be allowed to see it. Sure, they may be seeing stuff like this when I am not around, but that does not mean I have to be an enabler to something that I do not think they are ready for. Its a great movie, but you have to be mature enough to handle to sex and violence. That's just my 2 cents.

I think any high school kid should be allowed to see it. It looks just like the kind of movie I would of like to have seen when I was 14. Now in my 50's, I'm a lot older and have no desire to see it. Plus, I think it gives a 'comic book' view of what those days were like - kinda like a history lesson. I just saw the Ebert show yesterday - it got 2 thumbs up - especially for the 'comic book' effect.

Look dude I saw it and a 14 yr old is way to young to see it. I am 19 and the theatre had asked for my ID! I don't suggest a 14 yr old watching it dude wait until it comes out to DVD to watch. But in the end its up to you as to what u want to do. the reasons not to watch are because most parents don't want their kids to see sex films and there are sexual scenes. But wat kid now adays hasn't been on any sex site? And there is a large amount of violence and gore. What video games doesn't have violence in them now adays that kids play? but thats about it.

Depends on the maturity of the 14 year old. I know some 14 year olds who shouldn't, and some who could.

If I was 14, I would hate to be stopped from seeing it. Is there any evidence that if you're not an "Adult" (an arbitrary number - 18) that it violates someone elses rights? Even if it harmed one's self, the government has no right to protect someone from themselves.

No the violence if far too glorified and graphic. And the sex scenes althougth tastful in my mind too much for a 14 year old.

I saw three hundred. It has nudity, sex, and violence. Do you allow your 14 year old to see this kind of stuff?

I don't think it's a good idea. The sex scenes and violence would be pretty graphic for that age. I'm 28 and I was embarrassed during the sex scenes. Trust me.
