I don't want Quaker Granola bars or anything like that. I need serious nutrution in case "the big one" hits (earthquake), but something that the kids will possibly enjoy eating.

I was going to suggest granola bars. This is a conundrum, because you would want something that would stay fresh over a period of time. Hmmm. My boys would have probably only eaten chocolate pop tarts!! It has been so long since I have looked at nutritional values of things like that. Fruit roll ups are probably junk, too.I will be interested to see what answers you get. I should probably be doing something like that, too. Tornadoes blow through PA, too!

Vector bars are good, and the come in chocolate and strawberry yogurt flavours.

If all else fails give them celery, it has negative calories. It takes more calories to eat it then the celery has in it. So it's just like exercising.
