Watch out for Holiday and Atkins. Both are in that great 27 year old frame, which experts say that hitters break out. Look for .320-.330 with 30+ HRS, +100 RBIS, +100 runs scored.

How about the dude who plays with Holiday and Atkins...Todd Helton. Dude finally has some protection in the lineup and he is now healthy. I believe the question was which player will have a monster year that YOU DONT EXPECT. Nobody expects Helton to have a monster year, but I think he will.

I think a couple unexpected sources of a monster year will be Derrek Lee and Aramis Ramirez. Everyone's talking about how the change to Wrigley will increase Soriano's stats, but they're not talking about how it will give Lee and Ramirez more RBI opportunities. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Lee or Ramirez finished the season with more RBIs than Howard and/or Pujols.

Michael Young of our Texas Rangers is one of the best kept secrets in the American League.

With an upgraded pitching staff , a 5 year contract extension , & a new "player's" manager the pressure is off & I expect to see a career year from this already exceptional hitter.

Mark Teixeira. He may not hit .320, but .300 with a high OBP is certainly possible. Teixeira has 50 home run power. RBI and RS are really team stats but I don't think he'll have a problem reaching those marks.

Alfonso Soriano. His trade to the Cubs means 81 games in Wrigley Field, very notorious for bring a hitters park. Last year he hit 4 home rune, see somewhere close to 50 this season.

Matt Garza, will come up to the majors during the season, maybe late April or early May, and he will dominate. Expect ERA under 3.50 and 12-15 wins would get more but they will limit his pitch count. Good Luck

Aramis Ramirez of the Cubs

batting 4th with Soriano, Lee and Murton in front will give him plenty of RBI's chances.

Ramirez hit .291. 38hrs, .352obp, with no protection in the lineup last year. if he stays healthy there is no reason for him not to have a monstr year

David Wright...he is a great all around player, and i expect him to be a triple crown threat at some point in his career. He had a huge jump in numbers from rookie to soph season, and stayed consistant in his 3rd season....i look for him to keep his numbers on the rise.

Jose Reyes. He got buff over the break and I would not be suprised if he hit a lot of home runs. Also, he is probably faster then last year, so more triples and stolen bases.
