Can you give me some idea with headings for paragraphs etc please?

A case note, as in for Law Review in lawschool? Or just a commentary on the case for some other class?

The format will be defined by the teacher and by the school. As for the paragraph headings, aside from an Introduction, and Statement of the Case (case history), and a Conclusion -- the remaining organization will be based on whatever case you select, and whatever point you're trying to argue.

1) Name of the case

2) Citation

3) Judges

4) Case History (i.e.Crown Court - Court of Appeal)

5) Brief outline of the facts

6) Ratio Decidendi (legal reasoning, legal principle) i.e. Woolin - Virtual Certainty test
