I know i'm not the only one who is going crazy over the upcoming March Madness! An entire nation of college b-ball fans will become when it all starts on March 15. But what i want to know is how the Pre-Season and Post-Season NIT tournaments are determined? I know that the Post-Season NIT's are probably determined by those who came thisclose to getting into the real NCAA tournament. Right? Well, when the basketball season starts around November, there is always a Pre-Season NIT tournament. So if the Post-Season NIT is determined by the ones who came close to getting in, how is the Pre-Season NIT determined?

postseason are the next best teams that do not make the NCAA tournament they are elected by a 6 man committee
