yes she can dissolve parliament, declare war and claim any piece of land that is part of or dependent on Great Britain.

The Queen can do whatever she likes, She is Queen after all! If she doesn't like where someone is taking things I have absolutely no doubt that person will not be long in politics. She is a subtle, quiet lady who can & will take care of what needs doing!

The Queen is mainly a state figurehead. Her opinions and suguestions are respected, but she has no real political power other than she has the liberty to disolve parliment, forcing new elections and change in policies.
Cheers :-)

I am going to assume (perhaps incorrectly) that you mean 'queen' in general, rather than any particular queen. No, I don't see how because it seems inherent in women to be incapable of the removal of their own egos to really learn from any female in power

Not political power. She is above politics. Her government looks after that aspect of her monarchy.
No doubt she has her views as do the rest of us.
She has probably roasted various PMs when they have been summoned to the palace.

She can dissolve parliament and she appoints the Prime Minister (although she usually asks the leader of the Party that wins the election, she doesn't HAVE to, and can ask any one of the leaders to form a government)
