first just make her rest and the work should be done by you in that do not make your mom realize that u are doing so bcoz of her bday then later order a cake and the gift should be a show case containing complimants abt your mom then later ask ur mom for a dinner out .

Spend the day with her and go get a manicure or massage. Most mom's love a stress free day spent with her daughter. She will remember that forever and so will you. Find a local beauty college it is usually alot cheaper. Maybe take her to dinner afterwards. Have fun !!!!!!
