My sweetheart says I do -- he especially thinks I have sexy lips. I accept his compliments well now--at first I was a little shy about how complimentary he was--but I am getting used to it. He is so kind and good to me.

Depends on who says it. If it's my boyfriend, it makes me feel great. If it's some random guy at the club, I kind of get offended because there are better and more respectful ways to start a conversation. If it's a guy-friend, he's more than likely joking with me and I laugh. If it's a girl-friend, she's giving me a compliment.

When it's a stranger saying it, I'm offended that they would be so personal when they don't know me. It makes me feel like I'm being objectifed and I hate that.
What people say should never change the way you feel about your looks. If you think you are beautiful then you are and nothing anyone says should make any difference.

At first surprised ( like why was that person looking at me anyway) and then happy (someone noticed my efforts) then a little embarrassed ( I just got happy because a stranger complimented me)

I dont really take it as a compliment, i look at it more like the giver is just horny~~~its often just cheap flattery given with a motive in mind~
