Is there a limit to the amount of Gigs you can put into a compressed folder?

Windows XP

after moving even 5 gigs of data, I try to open the folder I get this:
"The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted."

Extract all function does not work either...it says there are no files...but there is compressed data in the zipped folder.

I don't know what is happening....please help me...

Take Care

it may be too much for your computer to handle to decompress all those files!
