I'm possibly getting an ultra sound today and was wondering if its too early to tell what the baby will be.

With my first baby, I had an ultrasound at 18 weeks and the tech wasn't able to tell me the sex for sure ... I found out at 22 weeks that I was having a girl.
My second child, I found out at 20 weeks it was a boy.
Usually it's best to tell the sex from 16 weeks and on and usually if it's a boy it's even easier.

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks due to mild cramping to check on the baby.. and she was "pretty sure" it was a boy, and showed me the penis, but it looked way to big to be a penis.. but I think I could be possible, but It all depends on how long the tech has been doing it.. mine has only been working for 3 years.. which isnt long for a ultrasound tech... good luck.. sorry i'm not much help..

The earlier the better! I was told that my son was a girl at 20 wks. Then I had a sono w/my daughter and it was right at 16 wks...then another girl w/sono done at 15 or 16 wks and it was right too...then another girl sono done at 16 wks and yep right again!

i got my ultrasound done at 13 weeks and his lil weeny was sticking WAAAAAY out! lol he was definetly a boy and ive had one ultrasound since then that has proven it to be correct so....good luck!!! hopefully the baby is laying the right way. I say you have a very good chance of finding out!

at my 16 week u/s the tech said her guess was a girl but not 100% positive and 3 weeks later it was confirmed a girl!

Well im about 16-17 weeks and they told me it was a girl. I had it done last Friday. So yes I think its possible. ;-). Congrats!

I found out the sex of my daughter when i was 3 months pregnant.
