It's so gross when my best buddies sign off on me in IM, I feel like a loser who doesn't have anything better to do with my time, bcoz they got other plans, while I'm still stuck on msn, or Yahoo IM wondering what to do next after they're gone.lol
I feel vengeful , and try to sign off first next time, although they still get me first!

Sometimes, they just forget to warn you they are leaving, so it's also a question of IM etiquette. Of course, I have other important things to do, but they just leave you in shock like that, and that's why I can't figure out what next!lol

My friend JUST did that to me!!! Oh well, at least they can get it after they log back on. You can't do that with MSN or AOL.

Dear, If u r good and ur friends r doing mistake means they r not adopting yms etiquettes than it's not our problem, but u must feel a very good winner in ur life that u r very good and u r keeping manners as compare to ur friends, So because of u anybody's heart can't be ever feel what u feel some times.
So according to me alwys keep right urself and don't think abt others, that's a very good positive sign for keeping good track in ur life

I don't know why you feel like such a loser, because it's really not a big deal...
My friends sign off on me all of the time! Sometimes it's their computer acting up, and other times they have to get off quickly for some reason or other, etc. Who cares? That's life!
It sounds like it's just a game for you...but what's the big deal?

Sometimes that happens to me, or sometimes I abruptly sign off because my computer crashes. I usually say bye to my friends if I chat with them and the conversation is over. Then when I go back online after my computer crashes, they are usually gone.

there are plenty of things to do besides being online with your friends, go outside and so something. Call up your friends and see if they want to go do something, such as play a sport or something... I wouldn't worry about trying to get vengefull on your friends nobody likes being cut off in the middle of a conversation, but dont be like them by signing off in the middle of a convo. Just keep them short, if theres something really important to tell them call them or make sure they arent going to sign off on you any time soon.

*lol* well sometimes it does make me feel sorta like "wtfuck people!!!" But I myself tend to log off on people because I do have to take care of stuff around the house or have errands. Dont feel bad, Im sure they are just busy and will always come back to you :) Just let me know they should at least say bye first. Its only right.

They should at least say bye! Next time when they sign on don't immediately IM them. Wait for them to make the first move and even then don't IM them back right away.

I used to feel that way until I learned that the secret messages they were sending me were intercepted by the Cuban government and they had been poisoned.
That was the reason for them signing off so fast.
Boy did I feel bad at their funeral. I had already cleared
them from my Buddy list though, so it's all good.

It is puzzling ... although there is usually a god explanation for it. I wouldn't go o far as saying is gross though. Something gross is much much worse. How would you describe that, if it happened to you?

I don't use that service, but when I did I was the one who was always signing off abruptly or losing my connection.
