Lol! Nice one.
This is international, so some people deserve a break because they aren't working in their first language. Having said that, there are more people on here with bad attitudes and no clue what they are talking about than you'd like to think the general population contained.

umm I don't really know what you are trying to get at. This site is accessed from all over the world, so everyone isn't from the U.S. plus there is no way the small population of people on this site from the us could give you an idea of the total populations education level. Even further more it doesn't matter how good of education system you have or what kind of teachers you have it all comes down to if the children want to learn or not.

It is enough evidence to put most of the teachers and members of the "education" industry in prison, for taking government funds and not doing their jobs.
I disagree that showing the level of discourse and bad grammar would cause the congress to do anything. They already know. The NEA buys them off.
The only solution to the U.S. education problem is a 100% nationwide voucher system for K-12 education. Its the last thing that the teachers and education bureaucrats want, because it would work.

The American education system has been manipulated behind the scenes (primarily by the Ford foundation) to purposely "dumb down" the American public since WWI. This way when they tell us "terrorists did it" we all believe it without even questioning. When they take our rights away with "the Patriot Act" and "the Military Commissions Act" people don't care because they were purposely not taught what their rights are. Indeed the majority of Americans can't even use their own language.

I don't know about that idea. I have seen some answers on the page that were 180 degrees from the truth and outright erroneous. It's a little like the Wikipedia library, half of that junk is enetered and not corrected by anyone.

Very good point. I'm not bagging on any particular party, because one is just as bad as another. It just kills me that these uneducated people that post these stupid questions to support their twisted agenda really scares me. These people are the future of this country and our education system isn't doing them any favors. I think the first thing that should be eliminated is a teacher's right to express their views to their students. Because a lot of this gets brought home with the kids. I recently complained to the school board about my kids teachers doing this and then my kids coming home and trying to voice against my authority over them. The education our kids receive should be limited to education based off of facts, not the opinions of the teachers. I think this would stop a lot of the naive comments we get on here and elsewhere and allow our kids to think for themselves.

I wonder what you are talking about. This site is for entertainment, it is a very small percentage of the population. Probably not 1/110 of 1%. So it is a measure of nothing.

No doubt. Especially in the areas of spelling and health science.
