Sure, but there would be massive heat strokes and an overload of people in hospitals and massive power drains from 24/7 Aircon Use. I live in Dubai, and it gets 120+ in the summer (Dubai is part of the UAE, this is in the middle east)

IIRC the highest temperature ever recorded was in Death Vally and it was right around 130 degrees. You can probably find the exact number on the web with a search engine.

Here, in Arizona, it's not all that uncommon for some areas to get up to 120+ F in the Summer.

HTH ☺

Doug

Note to mmgb: I remember once measuring the temperature inside a tin storage shed in Abu Dhabi. It was 185 F ☺.

Ok, I'll bite. Yes, 130 degrees is hot. That temperature has been recorded in the hottest deserts on a regular basis. There have occasionally been unseasonably warm days without presaging environmental holocaust.

If you are really worried, buy stock in air conditioning.

Yes, that's HOT!! I once was in Palm Springs, CA,
in July. The temperature was about 125 degrees
in the shade. We were in a cafe with
refrigerated air conditioning. The waitress
put a slab of butter on the table and it
completely melted in 5 minutes!
Also we had a jar of vaseline in the car
that melted completely.
134 degrees has happened in Death Valley.

I would say so but i would rather be in 130 degrees than in 95 degrees with humidity.
