i dont think any type of metal is supposed to be microwaved..it causes sparks and plus your microwave will probably start on fire or it will just ruin it.

anything made of metal (steel, alloy, silver, etc) cannot be put inside the microwave. it will cause sparks and might explode inside your mw.
