gosh i cant tell you how many nose bleed i got while pregnant. i still do. I never ever got them before nor with my other 2 children. Pregnancy does some weird things to your body. I asked my doctor, she said your body goes thru so much changes it happens. take a test and see. Buy a few. I took 5, all came out negative, took another a weeks later, it was positive. Good Luck!

Although nose bleeds are more common during pregnancy due to physiologic changes, a "bad" nose bleed is never something that should be ignored. Did it last longer than 10-20 minutes? Do you have them often? Has it reoccured since? Do you have any conditions that would predispose you to bleeding or take a blood thinner such as heparin? In the future, avoid dry conditions, maintain moist nasal conditions, and drink plenty of fluids. If you do have a bad nosebleed that does not stop however, it would be prudent to see your doctor. Good luck.

Yes... I got a few nose bleeds the first couple of months of my pregnancy. Had a couple that started with no warning at all and were pretty heavy. I had not had a nose bleed for years! It happens because of the increase of hormones in your system.

Yeah, i had nose bleeds when i was pregnant. And they were usually bad....lasted a while. FYI, if you drip blood on your clothing (as i did several times), it's easy to clean if you dab it with hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide "bubbles" up the blood. I had to apply it several times to fully remove the blood though. Oh, and It only seems to work when the blood is still wet.

I've never heard of that but anything is possible since your body is changing so quickly.
