Does anyone know why you can't download older movies off of limewire? I've been trying to get Where the heart is, The perfect storm, and a few others, but nothing will come up. Do I need to go to an older version of limewire or what? I'm just now learning how to use the dvd burner on my computer, so any help will be appreciated. Thank you

You can only download what other people have on their computers (and are sharing) at any given time. Since most people don't have older movies on their computer to share you will not find them. There is no server, or a set list of movies..... you can try to keep searching every so often, the list of movies will change all the time, depending on who is signed into the network at different times of the day.

It doesn't matter what version of Limewire you have. Limewire takes all it's files (video,audio,software,pictures....etc...) from the same source of all the versions. I know what you mean though. I've had some of those problems too. I just ditched Limewire and downloaded a different kind of Media Browser. I now have MP3 Rocket. It's basically the same as Limewire and Morpheus and Kazaa etc etc. Same set up and everything. My theory is, is that each different media browser has different strengths and weaknesses in locating files and each browser has it's different sources to get them from.

I don't know what else to say. I guess it's a trial and error kinda thing.

Good Luck
