I couldn't bring myself to kill zombie Jessie at the end, it would just have been too painful. I mean, we'd been through so much together. There must be some way of saving them? I know what the FAQs and guides say, but I don't care. There has to be something I can do...

There is a way to "save" Jessie and Brad, but it entails not completing the game to it's fullest extent, and passing up the "A" ending. If at any point, you fail to complete and objective and lose the story, they will be among the survivors that get aboard the chopper- in this way, if you can ensure that Dr. Barnaby never bites Jessie and that Carlos escapes and Brad never confronts him a final time, they will have survived. Other than that... they will eventually have to die, if you're going for the top-notch ending.

Sorry no way of saving jessie, but you never really find out if brad dies or not you just see a cutscene with him surrounded by zombies, doesnt mean he gets killed. So you can pretend brad is still alive down in the garage
