Are non-hairy arms IN? (lol!)

I shaved my arms back in jr high when boys thought that was gross. But really girl, men do not freaking care about your arm hair. I'm not hairy really, I just have what you would consider the normal amount of arm hair. Some people really thought the shaving the arms thing was weird. It's just a place you're supposed to have hair. I would stay with shaving/waxing the pits, legs, and down south if you like. You don't see and celebrities or models with their arms shaved. None that I can think of anyway. It's just weird.

Oh, and by the way, your hair does not grow back thicker or more coarse. Do your legs do that? NO. Does your head do that? NO. Your DNA determines the way your hair grows, not shaving.

Hi

Yes you are right you should shave your legs. As for arms it doesnt matter if your hairs are fine and light then leave them. People with dark arm hair shave it (or some leave it but this looks nasty!) Shave it if it bothers you but its just another thing to have to do in the shower each day then!

Shaving arm pits is a must and I also shave below the belt too. Not all women do but I think it looks far nicer I cant stand hair there its feels better when ermmmm ya with a man too and most men pefer the look of shaved as well.

Waxing is an option but it is painful - lasts way loonger thou - 6 weeks.

X

i would not do the arms, first off if the hair is already black cnaces are when it grows back its gonna be worse, and with all the shaving we alreay have to do, who wants to worry about another area!! My advice would be to either lazer it or bleach it, lazers are expensive so be prepared! As far as everything alse goes, lazer, lazer, lazer!! Its expensive but you never have to do it again!!! How cool! But if its not in the price range deff. wax, bikini waxing is the best you don't get those terrible razor bumps but beware of ingrown hairs! There is always a drawback for everything, and as far as below the belt i would stick with at least a strip, there is a reason why women have hair down there and no its not be nasty and hairy! I don't think i need to go into that with you but take it easy on the hair removal, it can be a pain after awhile!

Most American women don't shave their arms. It's not necessary for a girl to shave her arms. Some American women shave their eyebrows and draw fake ones in place of their real ones. That looks sort of strange. It takes some getting used to. Shaving legs and armpits is a must for a woman, but it's not necessary to shave anything else. There is one exception. Some women have problems with facial hair. A woman with a mustache does look weird. Mustaches usually have to be waxed or permanently removed with laser. Many women do shave their pubic hair. That's very sexy.

You should never start shaving your arms because then you will always have to shave them and the hair will come out blacker and thicker after shaving them. People have hair on their arms, it's a given. But if your genes gave you really thick black hair on your arms to begin with, like a man's, I would go to the salon and get bleaching advice, or just shave it and be prepared to shave it every day for the rest of my life. (."......I'll be there in a minute, I've got to shave my arms." Is this a phrase that you want to have to say in life?)

Do Not shave your arms. You think the hair is bad now, wait until after you shave. If it truly bothers you, try a professional dye job. They can lighten it up a little. As a teenager, my hair was super black and I really don't tan, so I had pale arms. As I get older, the hair has grown back less and is lighter. Either way - Good Luck.

Well I am sure celebrties wax their arms but I see loads of non-celebrties (including me) who don't! I think it's a personal choice and if you were to go hairless I would reccomend depilatory creams. Never shave 'below the belt' because it causes red and white rash spots. Takes alot of care.. extra moisturising if you do and alot of pain for 1 days worth of hairless joy!

i wouldn't recommend shaving ur arms. it will grow back funny, and a lot faster, and most of the time darker. then once u shave ur arms, u HAVE to keep doing it no matter what. and if u miss a day or two, ur arms will be prickely. i seriously wouldn't recommend it! Good Luck♥
