Coronor's records are closed for 75 years, so if you want to find out about the circumstances surrounding his death your best bet is the local paper (and I mean local - it won't make the nationals) and check the pages within a week of the date mentioned for a report on the inquest. They are nearly always reported to some degree or another. It will mean a trip to the nearest large library or local studies unit to where he lived though.
