I haven't seen the media get this worked-up over a nobody since they manufactured Paris Hilton into a celebrity.

Honestly, I am baffled by it. What has this guy done? Absolutely nothing. I have NO idea what all the fuss is about. He has no background or experience to be president. I am betting next year this time, it will be Barack who?

Not particularly, but I understand why he makes for an interesting story. The idea of having a "first" in the Presidency gets people all worked up-- the first black President, or the first female President.

I'd like to see the airtime that's been so liberally heaped upon Sen. Obama equally distributed amongst the other candidates.

Though I am impressed by his message and his story. Here's a man who has spent his life in public service.
But then I actually research the candidates and don't base my opinion on what's playing on the TV.

not impressed... of course I am not impressed by any of our so-called elected officials... most of them don't do a thing once they are elected
