No they are not gonna slit up. Gerard just said that if they can't come up with any music better than TBP then splitting up would be a possibility. BUT he later went on to say, that when MCR's music stops saving lives and makes fans wanna do the opposite, then they'd split up.

No, Gerard just said that usually bands split up after they make a really good album, like MCR just has... but that doesn't mean that they're going to.
