at their own game (capitalism)? And if so, how can the American middle class make it back to the top?

Americas middle class seems to be doing well, in my opinion! At least in Ohio.

I don't think that outsourcing is as much an issue as everyone keeps saying. Yes it would suck I lost my job to outsourcing, but the benefits of giving other countries work is good for us too. Do you enjoy getting those discounts at WalMart? Those products are created out of this country, do you enjoy being able to afford that Dell you are typing on right now? Well the reason it was so inexpensive and affordable is because they outsource!

There are plenty of jobs to go around, but you just have to be more educated and willing to work for them!

Other countries aren't to blame! Those people deserve to not live in poverty. Middle class in this county is too high of a standard. The middle class of today expects to live the same and the upper class. People have become spoiled and want more for less. In order to provide that, these companies can not afford to keep paying 'middle class' in the US.

The Middle-Class of the countries you mention are being aided by their governments so that they can attract businesses (their government pays for health care, educational opportunities, etc.). it is not the "middle-class" that is better at Capitalism, it's the fact that they are shoring up their capitalism with a socialism foundation (which America has been unable/unwilling to do).

At the same time, both of these nations are ignoring their lower class and this will cause a lot of trouble for them in the near future as their cultures clash. Never the less, these jobs will go to other developing nations (Thailand, Vietnam) rather than return to America.

Middle class america is disappearing. Only the rich, and people with jobs have health care. We are also loosing much of our natural wildlife to global warming. If we start to fix these problems, and get out of iraq we can start to be a great country.

No - the high class Americans sold out to these countries and our politicians/CEOs sold us out. The middle class Chinese and Indians simply took up the opportunity that was given to them by us. Who wouldn't?

The middle class in the US is thriving.

Don't be a sucker and listen to liberal lies about the economy. They have no idea what they're talking about, and they are LIVID that Bush has been so successful!
