I know this is long but please read it because I really need some advice.

Ok so, Im a sophomore in high school and ive been thinking about what I want to do with my life. I'm torn between being a psychologist and a high school art teacher. At first I thought psychology, butI want to go into private practice, and I was thinking about how it's not necessarily promised that you're going to develop your own successful business and get it out there. So I switched to high school art teacher, because you can definitely get a job. But now I'm torn again because psychology and art are my two greatest passions, and I don't just want to leave psychology. I don't know what to do. I also don't want to go for the extra years of schooling that psychologists have to go through, how long do they have to go to school for anyway? So yeah, my dad suggested becomming an art teacher, and then the school will pay for me to pursue further schooling with psychology. So, idk, please help?

i know what you mean i'm a junior and am stuck between psychologist and majoring in spanish translator or something similiar. Look majoring in psychology is difficult is 7 years of school and it's really hard. You do tons of writing!!! This major is growing and you can get 70,000 or more. Starting your own business is pretty hard but you can get help or take a couple of classes about owning your own business. You have to be sensitive and understanding to others. You need to be patient. ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret data, reports and other information will prove to be of good use in any career you choose.
