why do people talk about everyboby.?

I think it is because of boredom and people like amuzing themselves...or like being the center of attention so they make a joke on someone elses expense to spice things up...I am guilty of it but hey everyone is and there has been a time or two you saw someone with something on not quite how you would wear it so you just talk about it to feed your own ego...it happens and you will do it unknowingly.............and if your ego needs some feeding because your low then they do not have to know why not?.......hurting someone directly is different I feel...................

You need to add a quantifier to the term "people." Why do SOME people talk about everybody (understood loosely)? If a person does not like him/herself, that individual has to make him/herself feel better somehow. What better way than to talk negatively about the other?

Because everybody is everybody . So naturally everybody wants to talk about themself . As everybody is everybody they will talk about everybody , which in turn they will talk about themself only . Do you think is there any real difference between you , me and everone in the world ? No , all are one , only the physical body is different - not the mind .
