Dont do it to kill mice to feed to snakes. Just put the mouse in a paper bag and slam it real hard on a hard surface. Or put it in a bag and smash it skull. Both ways are relatively humane because they will kill it instantly if done right. But i wouldnt use rat poison if i were you.

Rat poison might not work on mice. Warfarin works by reducing the blood's ability to clot. Rats regularly damage their internal organs when squeezing through tight spots - and this damage is normally controlled by the internal systems of the rat. With Warfarin in the blood, the rat is unable to control the bleeding and dies from internal bleeding.

rat poison...........on mice?
OK...uhm
1.) it is a lot easier to get an exterminator
2.) I don't think rat poison works on mice.
3.) Get a mouse trap, or mouse poison.

It really depends on the amount of the active ingredient, the quality. Would recommend a pellet that kills, and then slowly helps it decay in the attic, or where it's home is without a 'aroma' left behind. Feed stores know which one to recommend to you.

I just hope your not asking this to find a faster way to do the prey you intend to feed your reptiles (as this is in reptiles)? Because you will just end up kill them as well.......
