My husband and I have been trying to have another baby for the last few months now. This past month my breasts have all the sudden gotten much larger (they shrank after the birth of my son) but I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. It's been 4 weeks to the day since my last period but I have always been somewhat irregular. Is there another explaination for my "development" besides pregnancy? As far as I know they only grow on their own when a woman becomes pregnant. What are the chances that I may in fact be pregnant?

It could very well be the case. I would try and take another test, and see how this one comes out.

However my friends mom didn't get large breasts until AFTER she had a baby. So, it all depends on how your body reacts to the hormonal changes.

The chance you are pregant is obviously there... You may have to wait a few more days until the hCG is high enough that you can get a positive result! I would wait a few days and test again! If you "really need to know" I would contact the doctor for a blood test!

Could be the fact that you are getting your period. I would wait and few days and then take another test. Take it the first "p" of the morning when you hormone level is higher

You could just be getting ready to start your period, or you could be pregnant and got a false negative. Any type of hormone changes could cause your development.

it could be too early for a pg test to show a pos. result. either go to your doc for a blood test, or wait another week. you should be pretty sure if you don't get you period soon.
