I assume you aren't counting incursions into:
Grenada
Nicaragua
Panama
Cuba
El Salvador
Columbia
Mexico
Dominican Republic
Haiti
etc.

The US has invaded all of those countries--and more--at one time or another.

It's interesting that "Crabby B" left out Guatamala.
In 1952, they elected a mildly Socialist (Not communist) Pres. Jacobo Arbenze and his V.P. Diaz. This did not go over big in the US, so between the Dullus brothers , John Foster and Allan, they had the CIA depose Arbenze with the help of Cardinal Spellman of New York. The CIA offered the top job to VP Diaz, who thinking the people would be better off with him in charge accepted. His first task was to execute 25 hand picked Communists to prove his loyalty to the US. He told them where to go and instead freed any communists that were in prison. Washington was advised that they (the US) was stabbed in the back. Diaz went into exile with Arbenze to Mexico. The US installed their own Goon and between '52&'62 over 100,000 Guatamalans were murdered by CIA/Gov't sponsered death squads, including 4 Catholic nuns and an archbishop. ( Unfortunately not Spellman). Like Crabby, I really can't understand why Latin Americans are so sensitive. Remember during the "Cold War", how we always thought the Russian press was controlled by the gov't. In most cases the US is worse, because the media is owned by the very people who are using the American people.

ok First of all the US has invaded various countries in Latin America. Second.....It's not good to generalize people, not everyone is sensitive about the U.S (assuming thats what you were talking about)......I know I'm not. Living here is an enriching experience just like it would be if you lived in any other country. To have the opportinuty to experience another culture other than the one you grew up is always an useful thing. I love living here just like I would love living in any ohter country and being able to learn about their culture.

Read some history - the USA has been exploiting other countries for decades. Don't you know that Panama was stolen from Columbia? Remember Teddy Roosevelt's big stick policy? Educate yourself. Americans are disliked because we have a habit of overthrowing other governments and supporting dictators.

LIke sensitive in what? And just for your records, I 'd rather prefer being in lot more places than the US... Say, Jamaica, Bahamas, Roatan, Italy with its handsome italians, Greece, Morocco... and the list goes on and on...

Why do u.s. people think as if that's the only place ever to go???
