Something that is really giving me a hard time is my grade in Maths...
I barely pass it...
Out of all subjects!
I'm planning on doing a Psych course next year...Since our school provides it!
Another thing I considered was Geology...
I'm not bad at math...
I'm just LAZY!
And went through depression...
Lost all my concentration...
I'm gettin back into it though...
HELP?!
I need to send in the courses for next year by like 14th! =(

besides the fact that most university students change their major at least once, Psychology is actually a versatile major (as are most). you can do more with a psych degree than become a psychologist. you can go into law. you can go into criminal justice....become a high school counselor...a professor... You have to remember that your degree doesn't limit you - it opens more doors.

You should do what YOU want to do and not listen to what others are telling you. I changed my major so many times in college I thought my advisor's head would explode. The first two years of college are really a time to decide if the major you chose is the right one for you, they are full of prerequisites and electives. You may change your mind 100 times before you finish your college career. If you are interested in Psychology then take some Psych classes in your first year and you will know if it's right for you. Don't let anyone else crush your dreams. You could make all the money in the world and hate your job or you could love your job and make a decent living...which is more important?

Do what you love regardless of what people think. Remember, nearly half the students who go to college start out as psych majors. Then they change to something else. In fact most people do change their major college. You aren't stuck with it until you get into your 2nd year and start taking classes for it because you're doing GE courses at first. That is not exactly what I mean. You aren't every really STUCK, it's just that once you start investing time in it, and then you decide to change your mind, you just keep delaying your graduation date. So just put it for now.

Psychology can lead to a very lucrative career. But you can go on to be successful with any major you decide to study in college. Besides your only in high school and if you think psychology is what you want to do right now, its not like its set in stone for life. Be flexible.

pick a job you can imagine yourself waking up to do every morning for the next 25 years to start.....if the idea of that is dreadful that is life, might as well do what make u happy, right? if u can't see yourself happy in that life - then don't pick that career. if you're not happy you won't get up in the morning to go to work. psych a good major, have to be willing to go get your doctorate to do anything decent with it though. that's alot of schooling but you can do it. i know guys in med school some said they couldn't do it but they are.
