I am going back to school in a couple months and I have narrowed it down to either ultrasound or x-ray. I want to do ultrasound a little bit more, but the program is twice as long as the x-ray and twice expensive ( i have 2 kids)(and am single!!) I know if I go into the ultrasound I will make more money but I live with my mom and don't know if I can take it for 2 more years!! Please help what do you think??

I suppose if you want ultrasound more, then that's what you should do. Personally, I went into x-ray...I thought sitting in a dark, quiet room looking at fuzzy images of the gall bladder was very boring. I didn't realize how many things you can ultrasound though. Do you know that you'll have to do transvaginal and rectal ultrasounds as well as organs, vessels, extremities, etc., not just babies?
