Here is where I would like to know the exact given reason why we have changed to DT from ST 2 weeks earlier, AND Does this have any relation to the time acceleration factors that have been measured beginning in the late seventies to early eighties and the increase of the Shumann resonance. I ask that only those with great knowledge of 2012 to answer this. Also, what was the official given reason for the earlier changeover, if different.

Bush signed a bill that made it earlier by the way, something to do with energy conservation But keep in mind that 2012 may be the year we finally reach peek oil( we finally manged to drill the most we ever will and then we will produce less... a lot less petroleum spells doom for many as there will be famines and such.)
We may also experience a polar shift. We are due for one of these and it may happen in 2012. If the polar magnets change our earth' protection layer will be compromised causing us to be blasted with very nasty solar and space radiation.
so many things will most likely take place. We will most definately experience trouble with our electonics and such as the Suns solarspots become more frequent.

Hi. Lots of interest in 2012, eh? Especially December 22nd. That IS a special day, but not your question. The Schumann resonance is an ionospheric phenomenon and has nothing to do with saving energy by setting the clocks ahead.
