Tied in points for 8th with the Canes. They have a game in hand on Carolina and they hold their destiny in their own hands. On the flip side, Tyutin, Shanahan, Hossa and Weekes are on the IR while Jagr is playing hurt.
Can the Rangers keep it together the rest of the way or will either Montreal, Toronto or Carolina find a way to get in? The next 3 weeks are going to be a blast.

A couple of thier top scorers are out for a while and it looks like they wont be making the playoffs. The Islanders are probably gonna take the last spot. They made a couple of nice trades before the deadline and have improved alot !

NY rangers are 10th in the eastern conference, 1 pt behind TML( toronto) 2pts behind Carolina. They don't have a good enought team to get by both of those others

I think the Rangers have a slim chance. Carolina is going to take control of the eigth spot in the division.

Currently tie with Carolina , they got the tie breaker. They still got 14 games to play. (While Canes have 13 left to play)

I don't think they will make it. Too much going wrong here in the last few weeks of the season.
