I work for a lawyer that does adoptions, and some of our clients are awful. Some of the birthmothers have ugly attitudes, are very disrespectful, and just are down right mean. I try to put up with it for my job but sometimes I just want to snap and tell them they have no right to treat me or speak to me the way they do. What do I do? Half the time its great and the other half I just want to quite. My boss is a lost cause in the matter cause he says he'll do something and trys for a day and thats it.

You say half the time it's great and the other half you just want to quit--it sounds like you have a typical job. No job is ever perfect and you're going to have bad days no matter what the job is.
I don't know how they treat you or speak to you, but I know you have to keep a professional attitude...even though it's difficult. If your boss says he'll do something, then keep on him. If you find it hard to go to your job everyday, then maybe it's time for a career change!
Best of luck to you!☺

The balance between happiness and money is always the biggest dilemma when working. Usually, we do what we must for money when we are young, then we "get too old for it" and resort to doing what we enjoy, regardless of the money, later.

If you don't like your work, you have to balance these same issues. It also depends on the work you do and your education- the more marketable you are, the better your chances of moving to another job that may not be as bad or may pay better. If you don't have these things, then you need to start bettering yourself so you don't spend your life trapped.

Good luck.
