Since they've to make it believable that they're enjoying the kissing, I have to wonder if that will end up in them getting excited or not? Is that common or does it depend on individuals? Ever read about that?

Heh - I've known several male actors who have been required to do such a scene in movies and on stage - and yes, at times, they get erections. Not every time - sometimes you have to "re-shoot" a scene a dozen times or more for a movie - and even the randiest dude can't keep it up forever!

I'd say the majority of the time they don't, because there are about 30 people in the room with them at the time. It is really not a sexy situation at all.

from experience as an actor, no, they do not. it is just a job and not real for the actors.
