I think the hardest hit was in the Pro-Bowl in Hawaii. AFC punter Brian Moorman had faked the punt and started running for the first down. When he cut back inside from the outside, NFC free safety Sean Taylor came down the crease and laid out Moorman helmet-first. It looked like a domino just got whacked with a bullet. They played that hit over and over again, in regular speed, slow motion, it was so hard!
There was also another hit in which Saints running back Reggie Bush got laid out by Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown at the line of scrimmage. Bush had caught a screen pass and was ready to turn it upfield. Just as he turned around to run, Brown came and whacked so hard in the chest, Bush was on the ground for a good while trying to catch his breath. When my family saw that hit, we all went, "Ooooooooooooooooh!"

Trent Green's hit by Robert Geathers (Bengals). It made me ill just watching it. I was at the game. It probably ruined Trent's career in K.C. He hasn't been good since. The guy's head was bouncing off the ground like a rubber ball. He woke up and remembered nothing about the hit for days! He was in the hospital for a few days and couldn't even drive for weeks.

The hardest hit occurred during the most meaningless game of the year........the Pro Bowl. Sean Taylor put a lick on Brian Moorman (punter for the Bills) on a fake punt attempt. Moorman
pops right back up and attempts to congratulate Taylor.

I am sorry I didn't see the beginning of the Eagles/Saints playoff game so I didn't see Bush get planted. What about the early season Bengals at Chiefs game that knocked Trent Green out for about 5 weeks?

The hardest hit (and to correct Slim up there) was when Safety Brian Russel (not Leigh Bodden) LEVELED Chad Johnson and his helmet went flying, as did his body. Dazed, he couldn't get up, and when he finally came too, ran to the sideline bleeding from the mouth and crying...dont believe me? It can be viewed on www.clevelandbrowns.com and on the homepage to the right click sites and sounds, Browns biggest plays of 2006.

Easy...Reggie getting dissintegrated by Sheldon Brown. The epic part about that hit was the shot of Reggie crawling around in a circle on the turf afterwards. Props to him though for coming back in like 2 plays later. That was manly.
