Normally the standard alt. w/o A/C is a Delco 55 amp, internal regulator.
If equipped with A/C usually a Delco 85 amp

It's a delco alternator and most new cars have at least an 85 amp.

Most modern autos have a 100 amp alternator, in gm, usually the "1 wire " type. They have 1 heavy wire, recharging the battery, and a two-wire connector, that energizes the field (armature). An alternator can't produce current without the field being energized.

55 amps, standard. 85 amps super duty. Others are available on special order, but I would be confindent in saying that these came with a 55 amp alt.
