Try making a copy without having something on the plate and see if there is an image. If there is, that is probably the ghost of the machine.

LOL, I have that some problem with machines,too. Especially the copy machine and the fax machine.
I kick it. That usually seems to help.

It is out to get you. It told me so when I was channeling it's spirit the other night. I would suggest bringing in an exorcist to sprinkle it with holy toner and drive out the demons that stay in the second paper drawer...at least that's usually where they reside in my experience.

You can't tell for sure unless you are a priest trained in exorcisms. Your best bet is to assume that ALL office equipment is possessed!

We perform regular exorcisms on ours. My printers, too. It's the only way to keep them pure.
