My 15 year old daughter taking the bus from her mothers ( my X's ) house to mine without telling me. I worry about her and to her it's like in everyday event. I don't know about you but I haven't been on a city bus in 30 years or more.

walking up to an unprotected edge of a drop off that is over 100ft. high. I feel like I am being pulled toward it. its awful.
edit: but losing any family members especially the younger ones is worse than that.

not being able to take care of myself.
the idea of being dependant on someone really scares me... hopefully I will never be there.
my grandmother was totally self sufficient until the day she died. that's my idea of growing old.
